Resort Information
- Resort name: Storey Lake resort
- The resort gates are open during the day but closed after 6pm. After hours, use the gate code to enter the gates. Code is included in the arrival instructions.
Parking Information
- The villa has a private driveway. Off street parking is free.
- Parking on grass and sidewalk is strictly prohibited. Any fees incurred from tickets or towing expenses are the sole responsibility of the guest. No RV-s, trailers and commercial size vehicles.
Check-in & Check out
- Check-in time is after 4 PM Eastern Time. Upon check-in please ensure that the property is cleaned and in good condition. Early check-in may be available upon request for an additional charge of $65 plus taxes. If a guest fails to arrange an early check-in, in advance and is found in the property prior to the 4 PM check-in time. Guests will be charged an early penalty fee of $100.
- Deficiencies. It is the guest’s responsibility to report any deficiencies in inventory or damage to the property upon arrival and immediately inform us to ensure that you are not held liable and charged for any damage/repairs/missing items.
- Check out time is 10 AM Eastern Time. If a guest fails to depart without a late checkout previously arranged, we are unable to prepare and clean the home for the next guest arrival. Guest will be charged a late penalty fee of $100.
I agree to complete the following prior to checkout and understand that if not completed, I will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $150.
- Collect all trash in trash bags and place in the designated trash bins
- Rinse and place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher
- Close and lock all doors and windows
- Remove all debris and dishes from the pool and patio area
- Place any furniture that has been moved back to the original location
- Turn off all lights and then set air conditioning to 78 degrees
Starter Items
- Linens and towels are provided and are not to be removed from the property.
- One (1) towel set per guest will be provided in the rental property upon check-in along with starter items of paper and soap products, i.e. One (1) full roll of tissue paper for each bathroom, and in the kitchen one (1) of each of the following: trash bag, roll of paper towels, dishwasher soap, and hand soap. These items are not to be replenished throughout the rental period.
Rental and Occupancy
- Minimum age requirement for rental is 25 years of age. The reservation holder must occupy the property during all dates.
- Total number of adults and children must not exceed the maximum occupancy listed on the property website. No other occupants are permitted.
- No children under the age of fourteen (14) are to be left unattended in a unit at any time.
- No special events of any kind are allowed, including but not limited to weddings, receptions, vow renewals, and birthday or anniversary parties.
- Falsely representing the number of people in the property or exceeding the maximum occupancy will result in eviction which will require that the guest immediately vacate the property without recourse. Refunds of any deposits or payments will not be issued and any costs associated with the guest being evicted will be charged to the credit card on file and/or pursued by legal means.
Cancellation Policy
- One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation.
- Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation.
- Zero percent (0.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 0 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 0 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
Security Deposit
- A security deposit of $500.00 is required, when applicable by booking platform. Upon inspection after the termination of this lease, security deposits will be released minus adjustments made for: 1.) damages and 2.) additional cleaning fees; if applicable.
- Please be advised that intentional damage or gross negligence and failure to report immediately are the responsibility of the guest and not covered by this damage waiver. Palmentuin Homes reserves the right to determine what action or damage is accidental or negligent.
Pool Heat & Outdoor BBQ/Grill
- Pool and spa heat are available at an additional charge of $35 per day. Please contact us at least 48 hours prior to arrival to arrange payment. For guests who request to add pool heat after the scheduled arrival date will be subject to an additional $25 trip charge.
- Pool and spa heat are on a timer from 8am-8pm to conserve electricity. Pool heat takes ~12 hours to fully heat up.
- All pool heaters have electrical/mechanical components, which automatically shut off if the outside temperature drops below 55°F. This is a protective mechanism to prevent the pool pump from breaking by over exhausting to compensate for the cooler weather. In this case, the water temperature will indeed fall.
- Grill is available at a one time charge of $85. Please contact us at least 48 hours prior to arrival to arrange delivery.
House Rules Reminder
- Garbage is collected daily. Garbage must be bagged and placed in the provided containers (bench) near the front door.
- Smoking is not permitted. If there is evidence of smoking in the house, the guest's credit card will be charged $500 to shampoo carpets/upholstery and dry cleaning.
- No pets of any kind are allowed in the property at any time. If pets are found to have stayed in the property the fee shall be $800 per pet.
